I aways hated taking turns in the gym equipments, commute time from work to gym and the cocky gym personal trainer.
So i decided to start training at home and bought some equipments.
I really think that this is the best and most free way for working out as it got no monthly fees, no commute time, no sharing equipments + the equipments last forever.
The downsides are, no personal trainer to guide you and a lack of especific equipments, however, you can learn to train by yourself and be creative with the equipments.
With a set of 30KG dumbbells you can train every body part, specially the upper body.
Rubber bands are the best option for pulling exercises like the back and forearms, plus you can do adaptations for other exercises.
for back, lats and stretching exercises (Optional, but, worth it.)
I strugled to find a workout routine that would fit me the best. Since i worked from 8:00 A.M until 5:30 P.M the only time i had left to train was starting around 6:00 P.M after getting home.
I used to train for 1 hour after getting home, but it was not sustainable for long as i sometimes got home tired and had my time limited to have dinner and sleep early
The best routine for me was training 30 minutes a day on week days focussing on one to two muscle, than, the rest of the muscles on the weekends as i got more time.
For breakfast i like to make a mix of boiled eggs, tuna and cheese, then i mix it in a glass pot to eat it with gluten free bread. It’s a very versitile dish as you can add more toppings and it’s got a lot of protein and omega 3’s, plus you can prepare it for the whole week.
